The Office of Special Student Services at The UWI, Mona Campus was established specifically to address the needs of students with disabilities.
The Office of Special Student Services at The UWI, Mona Campus was established specifically to address the needs of students with disabilities. All new buildings are accessible to persons who are physically challenged and since 2003, the Library has been operating the Visually Impaired Students Technology Assisted Services Unit (VISTAS), which provides visually impaired students with a facility that allows them to compete effectively with the sighted world.
